This page provides a software patch for the Navman GPS serial driver to provide support for the iPAQ H5400 series units. This upgrade should be done after the installation and registration of the Navman SmartST Professional software from the CD provided. It is not a complete application and should only be used to upgrade the iPAQ GPS serial driver.
iPAQ™ Pocket PC Requirements:
-iPAQ™ H3600 (ROM Version 1.77 or higher), H3700, H3800, H3900 or H5400 Series.
-Navman iPAQ GPS
Desktop PC Requirements:
IBM® Compatible 486 PC or higher, Microsoft® Windows® 98, ME, 2000 or XP, Microsoft® ActiveSync® 3.5 or higher.
Installation Instructions:
1. To download the application click here (74 kb) and store it in a folder on your Desktop PC.
2. Do a soft reset to your iPAQ and synchronize it to the Desktop PC without the Navman GPS sleeve connected.
3. Execute the application you downloaded to upgrade your previous installation. Make sure to follow all of the on-screen prompts during the installation.
